For me when I do these things it's what I'm going to take away from it - for me it was the overall vibe of the Conference and the OAPCE presentation that J. Perri did. It was simple in its message yet also a big message for parents that our voice does matter and we need to do it more - having the examples too was great the activity was wonderful but wish there was more time dedicated to it that is what parents really need a place to talk and I think that OAPCE has the leverage to do it. I was inspired from the moment I walked in and greeted by the two leaders of OAPCE (Anna and Joe) Teresa Hartnett's presentation was charming, Joe Perri's presentation made me realize and re-energized me why I got involved and need to continue to be involved, the highlight for me was the mini Jesus (wish they would have sold some) and the activity I only wish we could have been given more time to interact with others! The mass was beautiful and the Priest was wonderful - I left so happy I wanted more - can not wait for next year!
