Chantal Mendoza is a dedicated parent advocate and active school community volunteer passionate about strengthening partnerships between parents, schools, and the broader Catholic education community.

She has served on the parent council at St. Raymond Elementary School for nearly five years and as an Ontario Association of Parents in Catholic Education (OAPCE) parent representative for almost four years. Her volunteer involvement includes organizing school celebrations, supporting student food distribution initiatives, contributing to St. Raymond’s 25th anniversary, and participating in OAPCE activities, including the annual conference.

As OAPCE Dufferin-Peel Regional Director, Chantal looks forward to building stronger connections among parents, school communities, and OAPCE representatives across the region. She is committed to ensuring parents feel informed, welcomed, and empowered to participate meaningfully in their children’s Catholic education.

As a mother, she believes that engaged parents, open communication, and collaboration are essential to helping every child thrive.
