As another school year draws to a close, the Ontario Association of Parents in Catholic Education (OAPCE) extends its heartfelt gratitude to parents, guardians, families, educators, clergy, trustees, and all those who support the mission of Catholic education across Ontario.
This year has been filled with moments of learning, growth, achievement, and faith. Together, we have witnessed students develop their God-given gifts, strengthen their relationships, and deepen their understanding of what it means to live as disciples of Christ. Through classroom learning, faith celebrations, service projects, sacramental preparation, and daily acts of kindness, our Catholic schools have continued to nurture both the minds and hearts of our children.
As parents, you are the first and most important educators of your children. Your commitment, encouragement, and partnership with Catholic schools play a vital role in shaping the faith and character of the next generation. Whether volunteering at school events, supporting learning at home, participating in school councils, or simply walking alongside your children each day, your contributions make a lasting difference.
This year also brought opportunities to reflect on the importance of community. In a world that often presents challenges and uncertainties, Catholic education remains a beacon of hope, rooted in Gospel values and dedicated to forming students who will lead with compassion, integrity, and service. Together, we have continued to build welcoming and inclusive school communities where every child is recognized as a beloved child of God.
As we enter the summer months, we are invited to pause and give thanks for the many blessings we have received. We celebrate the accomplishments of our students, the dedication of educators and staff, and the unwavering support of families. We also remember those who may be facing difficulties and keep them in our prayers.
Inspired by faith and guided by hope, we look forward to the year ahead with confidence in God’s continued presence among us. May this summer be a time of rest, renewal, and joyful moments with family and friends.
